Spinning in the Spin Cycle

This week has NOT been a good laundry week for me.

*sigh*

First, I miss a ball point pen in presumably Dave's pants in a load of light clothes. I missed seeing it again when I tossed all the light clothes into the dryer. I found it immediately when I opened the dryer -- it was sitting right there by the lint filter along with blue ink all over the inside of the stainless steel drum and the clothes.

*sigh*

Hey - you can't call Dave out. I didn't check pockets because I was in a hurry and loading the washer with clothes before work so they can wash while I'm working and then I toss them in the dryer when I get home and put another load of clothes in the washer. You all know the drill.

Rubbing alcohol earased all the ink from the dryer drum - yeah all fixed.

Hairspray and rubbing alcohol is taking the ink out of most of the clothes that danced with the pen in the dryer. I'm pretty tenatious with stains so we'll see if I can get them all out...

Tonight while unloading the washer I found Dave's Italian Merino Wool sweater.

WHOOPS!

Not sure how his wool sweater got in the washer. It is currently hang drying in Zach's closet as it is now the perfect size for Zach. Hey, at least it's not entirely ruined.... I'm surprised it wasn't felted considering it was on a high spin cycle.

On the up side I know Dave now needs khaki pants and a nice new sweater for Christmas. *giggle*
