I'm addicted to iTunes...

(whispering) I admit it...

(yelling) I ADMIT IT I am ADDICTED TO iTunes! 

I log on almost everyday and look up music and listen to little snippets of this and snippets of that.   Then I hit the little button that says "buy me!" for all the tunes that speak to me.  I AM selective in what I purchase - I don't buy everything. 

Right now I'm addicted to children's music.  Zach LOVES to listen to music so I try it out for the 30 second preview and see what his reaction is like.  If he smiles I buy it.  If he doesn't I don't.  I'm not sure if any of you have heard of the Rockabye baby series.  They take popular tunes from various bands; U2, Green Day, the Cure, No Doubt and so on and re-instrumental them as lullabies.  Some of them are fun!  Some should never have been made into a lullaby, like "Closer" from Nine Inch Nails.  It sounds nice...but what if I start singing the lyrics to the song.  Not very kid appropriate at all! 

Well on the bright side...all of our friends and family with kids.  You'll be getting some fun Kid Mixes soon!  Might as well share my passion of children's music.
