O Christmas Tree!

It is softly snowing outside. Our yard and trees are covered in a blanket of glistening snow.

The outdoor landscape has set the stage for our indoor activities of sipping hot chocolate, putting the Christmas ornaments on the tree, and listening to the music of the season.

Zach was so excited to decorate the tree! I'm sure he decorated the tree much like I did when I was young.

All the ornaments are clustered in one low area of the tree. *giggle*

Elaina likes the Christmas tree as well. She especially enjoys plucking ornaments from the tree. It's almost like she's picking apples. She pulls the ornament off the tree and then it immediately goes into her mouth.

So this mommy will be moving ornaments up and ensuring any ornaments on the lower part of the tree are not breakable and are safe to chew on.

I love decorating the tree - it brings me great JOY! Even more so when I share the activity with Zach and I see his JOY in this shared activity.

Well it is now time to do some moving of ornments to make the tree "Elaina" safe for this year. Enjoy your evening!
