Nikon came out with a new digital SLR camera, the D90. *drools* Oh my does this new camera have great features. Not only is it a 12.3 Megapixel, it has a 3-inch display (VGA/LCD for those interested), live view, self cleaning sensor (for when you change lenses), a MOVIE MODE (I KNOW!! this is new for Digital SLR Cameras) that shoots in high-definition and three different formats!!! Just think of being able to use your camcorder with a telephoto lens, well you can't BUT HA-HA you CAN with this camera, in-camera image editing and it even has GPS geo-tagging. The camera will list your longitude, latitude and altitude of where the shot was taken if you'd like. There are many more features available as well, such as image stabilization, near instant start up and only 65 milliseconds between shots and much, MUCH MORE! The only downfall to this camera is that it is $1,240.00 online at B&H Photo $1,299.99 at National Camera - OUCH! Now this is kit price so the camera comes with a lens...but still. I could get the Canon Rebel EOS Digital Rebel XSi outfit for $800.00...doesn't record video but would take pictures just fine. Hummm...it's also the decision - go to with the Nikon brand or the Cannon brand...more research to do.
