Streaming Netflix to our TV!

We are finally able to instantly watch movies and TV episodes streamed from Netflix right on our TV. You can watch Netflix on your PC but now with the PS3 we can watch movies in the comfort of our family room on the BIG SCREEN!  Yeah!  So if you have Netflix AND a PS3 be sure to request your Free Netflix instant streaming disc for PS3 so you too can watch movies and TV shows instantly! Yeah!!

Cars Animated Shorts

Zach LOVES Disney's Cars.  He cannot get enough of them!  He asks to watch the movie Cars everyday and his DVD is finally starting to wear out. (Yes, we'll be buying a new copy for when this one finally dies.) Dave found some Disney Cars short videos online.  If you have a little one that can not get enough of Cars in the animated format you'll have to check these out:

There are also Cars shorts on You Tube.  One that we watch is called "Tokyo Mater HQ" and Zach enjoys that one too. It was an animated short that was played in the theaters before the feature, Disney's BOLT. Cars 2 debuts, June 2011! We'll just have to wait and see if Zach is still as interested in Cars then as he is now.  That's only 2 years away, a lot can change between now and then. Here is a brief synopsis of Cars 2:

“After winning back to back Piston Cup’s (seen in glorious flashbacks of course), McQueen retires with Sally and the little subcompacts back in Radiator Springs where he teaches up and comng Piston Cupers … his kid-CARS don’t believe dad could once be a great racer so McQueen joins the great race around the world for one last thrill.”

Checking things Out

One of the features on typepad (or any blog really) is that you can check out who is looking at your blog, when, and how often.  I can see how many people per day are checking out our two blogs, our photos and what links are being clicked.  It's pretty cool actually!  I don't advertise our blog so we don't receive a whole lot of traffic.  It's mainly just for all you wonderful family and friends that keep coming back to see what we are up to.  Occasionally there are folks we don't know, that like to check out our little blog from time to time, feel free to post a comment or let me know your blog address and I'll link you.
